Tinubu, Uba Sani Are Nigeria’s Joint Project in 2027 – TULN Coordinator
Kaduna, Sunday – The Coordinator of the Tinubu–Uba Leadership Network (TULN), Mr. Bobai Mathew Victor, has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani must be seen as Nigeria’s “joint project” ahead of the 2027 elections, insisting that continuity of reforms and inclusivity of governance remain the only path to national renewal.
Speaking to media monitors in Kaduna on Sunday night, Victor said Nigeria is at a “critical turning point” where citizens must choose between consolidating ongoing reforms or sliding back into “chaos, propaganda, and reckless experimentation.”
Reforms Require Courage and Patience
Victor argued that President Tinubu has displayed uncommon courage by implementing painful but necessary reforms such as subsidy removal and exchange rate unification, reforms that previous governments avoided for fear of backlash.
“These reforms are seeds; their harvest will not come overnight. To abandon them midway is to uproot the tree before it bears fruit,” he said.
He stressed that Governor Uba Sani has mirrored this same courage in Kaduna State, where he inherited an empty treasury and huge debts but has nonetheless prioritized social welfare, education, healthcare, and infrastructure expansion. “Together, Tinubu and Uba Sani are proving that reformist leadership is possible both nationally and at the subnational level,” Victor noted.
Debunking the ‘Muslim-Muslim’ Ticket Myth
The TULN Coordinator dismissed opposition propaganda that the Tinubu presidency is exclusionary, listing several key positions currently held by Christians. These include:

“If this is what a so-called Muslim-Muslim presidency looks like, then it has turned out to be the most Christian-inclusive government in Nigeria’s history,” Victor argued.
He added that Uba Sani has equally demonstrated inclusivity in Kaduna, with his cabinet reflecting the state’s religious and ethnic diversity, while projects are equitably distributed across all three senatorial zones.
Projects Without Borders
Victor further highlighted Tinubu’s nationwide infrastructure drive, saying projects are spread equitably across all six geopolitical zones. He provided figures showing the allocation of funds:
Northwest: ₦5.97 trillion (over 40% of total approvals)
South-South: ₦2.41 trillion
North Central: ₦1.13 trillion
South East: ₦407 billion
North East: ₦400 billion
South West (excluding Lagos): ₦604 billion
He listed flagship projects such as the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway, Sokoto–Badagry Superhighway, Abuja–Kaduna–Kano Road, Enugu–Onitsha Dualisation, Nembe–Brass Road, and the Bodo–Bonny Road with 12 bridges as evidence that Tinubu is “building a nation, not regional trophies.”
Kaduna, he said, stands to benefit massively from national projects like the 255MW Kaduna Power Plant, the AKK Gas Pipeline, and renewed oil exploration in the North—all of which align with Governor Uba Sani’s local development priorities.
Justice and Fairness as Guiding Principles
Victor said what distinguishes Tinubu and Uba Sani is their philosophy of governance, which prioritises fairness and justice over cronyism.
“By creating five new regional development commissions and a Federal Ministry of Livestock Development, Tinubu is institutionalising equity at the federal level. In Kaduna, Uba Sani has done the same with the Kaduna Social Investment Office, ensuring that vulnerable households receive direct support,” he said.
El-Rufai’s 2027 Prediction ‘Wishful Thinking’
Responding to comments by former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai, who predicted on Sunday Politics that Tinubu would “at best” come third in 2027, the TULN Coordinator said El-Rufai’s analysis was based on bitterness and self-preservation rather than political reality.
“El-Rufai’s remarks are not analysis but wishful thinking. This is the same man who once declared Buhari could never win an election, only to later cling to Buhari’s popularity. His inability to deliver Kaduna for Tinubu in 2023 speaks more about his own declining relevance than Tinubu’s national appeal,” Victor said.
He added that El-Rufai was misreading the electorate, stressing that Tinubu remains the only leader with a tested nationwide network that cuts across North, South, East, and West, and that no opposition party today has the unity to replicate the 2015 coalition that unseated Goodluck Jonathan.
“El-Rufai’s constant reference to 2015 is misplaced. That was a unique moment under Buhari’s moral weight and a united Northern consensus. Today, the PDP is fragmented, the Labour Party unstable, and smaller parties lack reach. The so-called ‘runoff’ prediction is fantasy,” Victor declared.
2027: A Choice Between Renewal and Regression
Victor concluded by framing 2027 as a defining referendum for Nigeria’s future:
“Do we want continuity of reforms or a relapse into policy somersaults?
Do we want inclusivity backed by evidence or empty rhetoric wrapped in tribal and religious colours?
Do we want bold reforms or timid leadership hiding behind populist slogans?”
He insisted that the answers are clear. “Tinubu and Uba Sani represent continuity, courage, inclusivity, and stability. They are partners in Nigeria’s renewal project. As 2027 approaches, the choice before Nigerians and the people of Kaduna is between progress and regression, renewal and relapse. For those of us who have seen the facts, the choice is clear: Tinubu and Uba Sani are our joint project in 2027.”
